The aforementioned have contributed financially to the continuing triumph of 4hv.org. They are deserving of my most heartfelt thanks.
In order to replenish my R&D budget for Electronics and Tesla Coil endeavors I have to let go of some things I just don't need and don't use any more.
For sale is one 500ml flask type electrodeless discharge tube, filled with Xenon gas and trace Nitrogen/Oxygen. This tube was made by and has his emblem and website engraved on the exterior of the tube. There are imperfections in the tube wall, but they're all cosmetic as they are all on the interior surface and do not affect operation. The discharge is a greenish white color, with white diffuse glow in areas of high ion density. Additionally, there are some remnants of whatever contamination was inside the tube. Running the tube effectively "burnt up" the contaminants and they formed a soot that lightly coated some of the internal area of the tube. That is why the glass looks dirty.
A high frequency AC power supply is required to operate the tube; NSTs and other similar 50/60Hz transformers will not work, nor will a standard DC flyback transformer. AC (diode-less) flyback transformers or power supplies from cheap plasma globes should work though. Best results are obtained when using a Solid State Tesla Coil or Vacuum Tube Tesla Coil, but all types of Tesla Coil will work. Care must be taken to never let a spark/streamer/arc or the HV terminal come in direct contact with the tube, as this can damage the tube and allow air in. Likewise, it is fragile glass with a partial vacuum inside, and should be handled accordingly.
Note: I will ship overseas but buyer must pay additional shipping charges.
I bought this for over $115 + shipping and they were far easier to get ahold of then than they are now. I offer this tube so cheaply because of the cosmetic issues. See pics for examples of imperfections:
