To be fair to silicon technology this receiver shows no evidence of being a wireless wonder =P
Not to say that the work is bad, it seems quite noteworthy to demonstrate a multi-transistor graphene circuit (two-stage amp with mixer) with integrated RF passives on a Si substrate (graphene grown by CVD on Al2O3). But a lot of what people say about graphene in electronics seems to be heavily hyped so we'll see if it lives up to it as development proceeds.

Interesting, and there's an arXiv pre:print:
This one does have a bandgap but the mobility values they are extracting are still rather low, under 300 cm^2/V-s. I'd be curious to know the saturation velocity.
