I posted back in June about selling a pair of (very) high voltage capacitors. Turns out that was not the end of the high-voltage stuff I accumulated during my adolescence. This stuff can't hang around in my parent's basement forever and I have no real use for it, so it's got to go. Below is a brief description of what I've got, and pictures of everything are here.
A General Radio 0-140V 20 amp variac in its original housing in good condition. I remember these being hard to find used and very expensive to buy new. Also three smaller variacs, one 9 amps and the other two probably 5 amps or so. These ones lack proper case/housing but the coils looks to be in good condition.
A Tektronix 465 oscilloscope with case, accessories, original manuals, etc. It powers on and displays the 1kHz test trace and so is presumably functional.
16 capacitors rated at 350V and 3700 uF and 4 high-voltage capacitors rated at 4kV and 8uF each. Also eight high-current diodes (specs and condition unknown). Wire-wound resistors: a wide array of sizes and tolerances.
Finally, an almost antique 'Type K-3' universal potentiometer. This is pretty old and looks cool but whether it functions or not I can't say.
For most of these items we'd prefer that a local pick up could be arranged (everything is located in Massachusetts about 30 miles west of Boston), but some of the smaller things could also be shipped. I haven't listed prices but I'm open to any reasonable offer for all or any subset of these items.
