This is one of my ideas it is a High voltage fly back with 7 primary's I am still in the process of learning how to form my own High frequency Ferrite any ideas?

8 Zps42ad7bc5

7 Zpsc3c3d40a

1 Zps69213da9

5 Zps1932c769

6 Zps07616387

Or maybe get some cores and grind them?

I'd probably make one look like something out of Frankenstein... like... a modified Tesla Coil - Jacobs Ladder combination or something.

Just use seven (or whatever) flyback cores, or other ferrite cores, you should still have plenty of room for the secondary (or secondaries).

Sorry I meant 7 secondary's for a series output and yea I was thinking of simply making it out of 7 pre made cores but how cool would it be if you could make your own cores. I was considering getting some pottery clay and mixing it with pure iron powder and making a mold to put it in an oven.

Do you think this Link2 would work good with some pottery clay?
Or maybe like this. Link2

WOW Impressive wonder what that is used for.

I think I have seen that picture before but did not know the voltage or the VA.
Can not believe there is a desk next to it.

I want to build the core I presented with a 12" radius I think it would have great potential at that size.

Here is another way to do it. Link2

Ideally i would like somthing like your transformer Chris, the problem is,
i need to find the ferrite..... im trying to build a 10-13Kw Ferrite transformer
to go with the lovely Fullbridge of CM600 Equivilents... problem is its only at 20Khz....

Well I came up with an other idea would a ferrite E core as big as a micro wave transformer work better.

Also if I create a transformer that works from my own iron powder mix. Would that be a good subject for the HV Wiki how to make your own transformer core? Or would that be something to sell custom cores?
