Hello,
ive been looking for a 4 channel digital storage oscilliscope <50Mhz
Howver the cheapest i can find is:
Link2

I have heard many good things about that brand, but is there anything at all cheaper at about the same quality wise?
i dont mind second hand as long as its proved working and has a newer color lcd screen.

Thanks,
Thomas

Cheap scopes (400 dollars and below) are just crap.

I'd look towards Owon, Rigol and Hantek. BTW, the reason the one you linked to is more expensive than some equivalents is that it's rated 300 Mhz. There are the 60 Mhz versions that you are looking for but for a lower price.

Really? Because I have a 200Mhz Hantek and it kicks ass. Rivals the Agilents I've used in function. The only downside I've ever seen with it is that it LOOKS chinese made. But the use of it says otherwise. Certainty beats Owon IMHO. And there's the 1-2-4-8 numbering, but you can get over it. I use both increment systems interchangeably between my scopes.

You'll always wish you had more channels. If you're looking at two things you'll say "I wonder what this does in reference". The problem with that is that you'd need to sync the triggering, and hope you didn't need the signals stacked on a single screen or needed to do math between the two scopes. In reality, you really never *need* many more channels, it'd just be more convenient.
