Hi all. Had a discussion with someone about whether an RFID chip could be embedded in a piece of expensive hand made jewellery for location and inventory control..
Is this even feasible if the gold or whatever is electroplated over the glass as long as there is a gap around it to prevent a shorted turn?

Lol.. It was for an extra special Valentine's gift... I don't particularly want it to get lost, so thought about personalising it in this way and also adding a phone detector so it "lights up" when receiving a call.
