hmm, tv flybacktransformers, i thought the ferrite would be to big(i have a tv flyback transformer and it looks fairly big. where i am now people are constantly throwing out tv's. even huge plasma screen tv's (in favour of new LCD's). Im located in darwin australia, but now im going to try and get a free sample inductor from coilcraft delivered, or at least reason with them to charge me the actual shipping, rather than their default minimum to cover bulk orders. Anyway, i think now this question is solved, ill either get a proper inductor, or build the 50W charger using a flyback ferrite.
