ratio of spatial occupancy

 		my multi meter has an option for "ratio of spatial occupancy". google is being no help for all it shows is referance to physical volume.

any help with this would be greatly enjoyed.

 		Could it be something like duty cycle? That would be a ratio of the "space" a waveform occupies in a cycle.

 		all the manual says is

Range 0.1%—99.9%, Accuracy ±(), Resolution 0.1%

Frequency of input signal 20Hz——18kHz
Extent of input signal ≥2.5V
Overload protection: 36V DC or AC virtual value.

i'd test your guess but it's still in the mail.

 		One of the google results that turned up was ac ebay auction for an LCR meter, it read "Ratio of Spatial Occupancy Duty," which seems to go with EDY19's guess.

Where was your meter made? That sounds like a very literal translation of a non-english word.

i got it from ebay too. prolly the same one.



the usuer manual is very literaly translated too.

examples:

Never use the instrument before replacing the back cover, or having the risk of electronic shock.

You must first take out the test leads before entering or deleting different current measuring
positions and.......

i'll let you guys know all about it after i play with it.
