in my searches for class d amps, comparitors and the like i came across the max4295 http://www.maxim-ic.com/quick_view2.cfm/qv_pk/2352
one aplication will be to modify steve wards mini tc http://www.stevehv.4hv.org/SSTC5/miniSSTCsch3.JPG by replacing the 555 with the max4295 and see what happens. this becuase it's already built and i'm getting bored with it and whant to mess around with it. i'm pretty sure it will do "something" no matter what.
other apps will be ofcourse class d amps useing a simple fet driveing circuit as show in steves schematic. this becuase (1) i allready have it built (2) i have all of the components in multitude sitting on my shelves (3) i'm familiar with them and is on par with my curent skills.
any feedback, tips and sudgestions are very welcome
edit: i also am gona try some TPA2000D1 from TI. a few more external components but it has gain controll that could, in the end, be a nice feature.
geez. can't get anything in pdip anymore!!!
