Hello everyone, I've been having quite a bit of trouble trying to find a hockey puck scr with a clamp and heatsink. The rating of the scr must be 250A+ and about 800V+ (the circuit voltage runs at 400Vmax). I'm trying to spend around $60ish. If anyone has any spare scr setups (heatsink isn't 100% nessary) I would love to buy one from you. Thanks, Tom

Tom, I have plenty of scr's and clamps but, I'll have to look ans see if I have any heat sinks. Most of my clamps are for dual scr's. I didn't know if you wanted to run one or two. I'll take $45 for a set with shipping and I'll look in the garage to see if I have any heat sinks. The spacers between my dual scr clamps are hollow and barbed for water cooling. Thanks, Steve

I'd keep my eye on ebay... there are usually some good finds from time to time. Check out this beast on ebay
It ended up going for about double what you want to spend but it is also 5X you spec at 1200A rms (10KA surge) and 2600V. Never now what you may find there. I did end up getting my scr's on ebay, but they were smaller at 6700A surge, 1200v for $10/ea. I did avoid the hockey puck types becuase of the mounting requirements (unless they included all the hardware), seems like the brick type ones are a bit easier to work with. Good luck finding some.

You americans are do lucky, there is never anything intersting on australian ebay...
you want to get either the brick or puk package, unless u can find a stud one which comes with the mounting nuts. I couldn't find any for my 200A stud ones, and ended up screwing them to a polyethylene board with an Al plate in between
