i have a doubt abt uzzors capacitor charger 50W. What does he mean by 1/2 LM393 in the circuit?

An LM393 has two comparator's inside of it. Look up the datasheet for the part and you'll understand. :)

Again; Look up the datasheet. the pin numbers will designate a +, -, output, Vcc, and GND or Vee.

Connect the Vcc to your supply voltage, the GND/Vee to your ground, and the + or - to however it says to connect it in the schematic.

got one more doubt can i use KIA 393P instead? it almost looks like a LM393

Yes, you can use the KIA393P. It's still technically the same thing.

And yes, GND = Negative voltage supply, if you have it.
