3 outputs: ground,negative and positive
10 turn pots for percise control
displays voltage, current, power and load resistance on LCD screen + secondary voltmeter for more percise voltage readout
CC CV indicators

windind the toroidal transformer was mind numbing, especially if its 4 turns per volt and you're using a thick wires that came from a MOT's primary!
but all that hard work will pay off when you have an swesome power supply cheesey
all the parts cost no more than 20$
the buck converter board and lcd meter was bought from a chinese site for 10$ Link2
sadly, all the IC's part numbers were rubbed off

Very nice!
How is the performance of that little buck converter? Is the switch over from CV to CC and reverse smooth?

On your Dot Matrix LCD, can you really justify 4 and 5 significant figures? I think not.

But your project looks good otherwise.

smooth? if you turn down the current pot to limit the load current it'll go into CC mode, and as soon as you turn up the current pot past the load's nominal current it'll be in CV mode. but if you fine tune the current pot, both CC and CV indicators will light up
