Oh no, I was planning on using our compressor in our garage, which is currently sitting at 125psi, the air-conditioner would be for parts and such. Plus I want to use it as a vacuum pump in the future :)

That's a great old book you've found. (Google deserves some credit here.) The name of Georges Claude is writ large in the history of cryogenics and its industrialization. I wonder if 100 years ago, when scientists and engineers were not so numerous, they were more likely to be good teachers, lecturers, and writers.
I hope you enjoy the read. Please let us know if you undertake to liquefy air at home. A worthy pursuit (and good science fair material, if you're still in that age bracket), but more than a casual weekend project. The first observation of liquid oxygen by humans is described on page 66 of the book you found, Today I think you can get there much more easily. Note counter-flow heat exchanger on p.77.
Personally I never went past collecting liquid propane in a flask (from inverted torch cylinder, outdoors & far from ignition sources esp. near ground level) and collecting dry ice (in a sock over the outlet of a CO2 cylinder valve).
