S8065K "ON" resistance (rt)

After destroying a CS35IO4 thyristor (triggering it without a gate limiting resistor), i bought a pair of S8065K from Ebay, as i've heard good reports from other people that use them. But the datasheet from Teccor does not give any data for the S8065K's rt (internal resistance) and i need to know the internal resistance that have when they are turned on in order to calculate the peak current of my portable coilgun. Do you have any idea of how to find this value?

The spec sheet gives Vtm = 1.8v at 41 amperes continuous,
you would be better modeling it as a fixed voltage drop (like a zener) than as a resistance.
If you must model it as a resistor .... 1.8/41 = 44 milli-Ohms.

Well, it seems that i must go back to the school to study math again.... and buy a new CS35IO4 thyristor (3.5mOhm rt) as this value of resistance is not acceptable by my project. Now i need 50$ and we are OK.

for an SCR running at the rated current, total voltage drop will probably be swamped by the "Diode" style fixed vdrop compared to the ESR. Best to model it as a fixed vdrop + some ESR. Even the CS35IO4 has a 1.5V drop. on top of the 3.5mohm.
