Congratulations on success on your first try. It doesn't happen to most of us including me. What design did you use and source?

My TEA nitrogen laser page details my somewhat longer course.

Are you sure about that? My site meter indicates that only 10.74% of visitors are using 800x600 or less screen res some of which are mobile phones/PDA's. The greatest proportion use 1024 x 768 including me. If you are using Windows internet explorer (as I do) your pics will size down to fit allowing you to expand at will. Most of my pics are 1000 pixels but I have kept full size for some of 3000x2000. All are thumbnailed, so view how you want.

Yea, I agree, not many people use less than 1024x768 nowadays. In my day job, I try and make sure the GUIs for my programs fit on 800x600, but if they don't, it's not the end of the world.

I do like sites to have small images that can be clicked to reveal the full size version. For two reasons: The page loads faster, and it lets you browse the site in a small window along with other stuff on your desktop. For that same reason I prefer "Liquid" layout, like 4hv has, where the page width reorganizes itself to fit your screen.

The page as it is now does not fit in 1024x768, it throws up a scroll bar (annoying) for no apparent reason.

Use firefox, with automatic rescaling, and you're fine.

In the fluorescein picture section there is a great demonstration of the fluorescence auto-adsorbtion fenomena. Since the electronic levels fit perfecly the radiation, the flurescence is adsorbed from the fluorescein itself. Hence higher concentration doesn't mean more quantic efficiency. Probably there is a concentration at will the efficiency is the best.

Hello Peter
Thanks for the positive comments.
I'm looking at your site. Your projects are great but all these things needs a lot of money. frown

The power supply is a 10kV max @ 100uA adjustable from EMCO ( E101) .
The circuit is a typical Blumlein topology Link2
I'm using 2 stacked laser transparencies (A4) and kitchen foil with 6.3nF total capacity
with calculated energy ~320mJ @ 10KV
Now i'm looking for doorknob capacitors to increase capacity and make the device
more compact.
