Hi all.
Seems that this might be a way to make that magnetic solder being discussed at the moment. Base material seems to be SnAgCu, so easy to get hold of as feedstock for solder rework baths. Combine with the prepared iron under inert atmosphere (easy enough, He or N will work) and voila.
Managed to get some oxalic acid as a whitening agent mixed with citric acid..
