I just recently built a zvs driver and rather then using the standard parts I beefed it up a tiny bit. I've been getting some insane arcs from this little guy and I was wondering what the max output these guys can handle.
Here is a Vid and let me know what you think and your personnel best arc length. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxmI7QPC4Uk

I was getting arcs like that on 48v input but it eventually fried the flyback. I sure wish I had gotten a video. I'm going to try a vary old AC flyback sometime soon. It is rated for 60kv output on a good day. Good work dude. How did you "beef" the circuit up? What changes did you make?

@Oidium45 I have a very limited amount of knowledge when it comes to electronics so my beefy might mean I'm screwing up. I can only go off what burned up on my first one and adjust values of components based on that. So this is what I changed and you can tell me if I went wrong some where. Zeners are 15v vice 12v's and they seem to work better for my 250n's. The gate resistors are 5w vice 2w because they were getting super hot on my first one and they are ice cold till >60volts. and the ultra fast diodes are rated @ 400v/15amps. I switched these things because they all went to silicon heaven on my first @ 40ish volts and I driven this one past 60 without much heating and zero deaths so far.
