alright quick question, i have 24 330V caps @ 120uF ea. now, if i would try to get 660v i could series two halves then paralell the halves to achive the result? 2 12 cap banks paralelled.

Assuming they're photoflash capacitors the leakage currents need to be balanced. I suggest 1 mA per capacitor. e.g. 12 capacitors in parallel = 12 mA 330V/12mA=27,500 Ohms, 3.96W Use a 10W 27kOhm resistor across each bank of 12 capacitors. (2 total) or a 0.5W 330 kOhm resistor across EACH capacitor.
P.S. Be careful, such a bank can deliver enormous/lethal power.

So basically i was correct, and i have found out that you guys are REALLY ANAL about sig size. i dont mind getting rid of it, but i had 3 PMs about it in two-three days. i had only had one before that.
