It looks pretty harmless on the outside, just like any ordinary HF power supply. But she has a nasty little secret lurking inside, a Magnetron!
How cool is this! And to think, my college is throwing this stuff away!
So what we have here is a Laboratory grade Microwave source metered up to 120W but I think its good for 100W. Anyway I just wanted to show it off and see if anyone needed a REAL Microwave test. If you do in fact need something tested in an RF field just give me your procedure and guidelines and I will do my best with the results (If and When I have time of course.)
I'm on my way to having a neat little test lab now! Next I need to get my microwave Systron Donner fixed, get the adjustable 30KVDC source good and setup, and build my 5kva 110/220.

Wow, nice! (How do these places just chuck this stuff out?)
If you're looking for tests to do, I'd be interested if you could calibrate a schottky rectenna. Take, say, a 1n5819 and hook it up to a voltmeter, making a careful description of your setup. I'd appreciate some hard data on output to u-wave power density.
(BTW, catchy title but could you please make it a little more descriptive?)

I can do that but I need detailed information of your construction, distances, everything you want for an experiment. I really don't have the time to do the background homework right now, so if you want data I can collect it within your guidelines.
Essentially you write up the experiment in detail, and I will carry it out when I can.
