Hello! This is my mini VTTC and some parameters.

Vacuum tube: 6P45S
Primary coil: 20 turns on 7,5cm diameter
Secondary coil:5x14,5cm , cca 700 turns
Feedback coil:18 turns on 7,5cm diameter
Power supply 1MOT with triac regulator
Max sparks of this coil - 25cm

6P45S ( 6П45С) is a Russian horizontal deflection valve (US: "sweep tube) equivalent to EL509 and the famous PL509 - except for their different heater voltages.

PL509 is now being manufactured again in Russia, where the makers, Svetlana, are describing it as an audio output valve catering for the audiophile market - and at audiophile prices, too!

I think he meant how much does the tube heat when running?

How big are yours capilators
I believe he meant capacitors, though i am not sure.

And, that is some nice sparks! Especially from such a tiny secondary! smile

to LithiumLord : Tube is much warm, but on little sparks (12-15cm) survives running longer.

to Dieu : resonant capacitor is 900pF and capacitor in feedback is 1nF
