I have 2 litre bottles of 65% concentration nitric acid I'd like to get rid of.
Bottles are unopened.
PM me with any offers.
Postage to the UK only (I wouldn't want to send glass bottles overseas)

Would this etch away the casing on silicon chips?
Or does that need >90%?

EU law for poisons and explosive precursors is so sad, why are they pursuing to ban everything? In future you won't be able to buy soldering iron because it could be used to create a weapon

Now in the UK (and EU presumably) you can't even buy chemicals for diy pcb etching anymore because you'll face 2 year prison term

Where does it say this?

Also I have ammonium persulphate, it does not mention this.
It was bought legitimately from RS Components quite a while back, in a large plastic sealed tub.

I am not sure if HTSCs containing barium (aka YBCO) would be covered under this.

I know this is offtopic but
YBCO is not included because it isn't a salt
And I wonder from where did the idiots pull that "poison" list, it couldn't be more random and useless.. they just managed to make every science-in-general hobby illegal

Pretty sure this is is just a carbon copy of the EU regulations, thanks to stupid short sighted legislation business is simply moving to China and India.
