Hello.
I see images like this on the internet. They are posted on not very legitimate websites.
I would like to know what corona emission of a pyramid looks like. Does it tend to curl on itself or focus?

I know that to many this looks like some kind of pseudo-scientific nonsense.
Can anybody cheaply replicate this experiment and see what happens?
Make a dielectric skirt so only the top tip of the pyramid can produce corona emission.

I doubt that the authors of the web pages had drawn those images themselves.
Kirlian photography is no pseudoscience by itself. Does anybody here do Kirlian photography?

A pyramid may focus energies for the same reason that an awl with a pyramid tip is very good at penetrating leather and rubber vs round tipped awl.
Ridges of the square awl help rip it through leather.

The twisting may happen for the same reason a water in the toilet is spinning in one direction in northern Hemisphere and in the other in southern.

Pyramid may help electric corona rip through the electric field. Who knows...

while Kirlian photography is a real thing is often used by pseudoscience to fool ppl

coronal discharge is most prominent at sharp tips/edges... so you'l get the same jet of plasma from a needle. the tip of wire or from a pyramid. So no focus at all...

as for the twisting i'd say is most likely fake or maybe there is something that is not shown in the picture

Site rules not obliged.

Part II: Posting

I. Free energy, electrogravitics, and all other types of pseudoscience are not allowed on any part of this site, nor are links to sites that deal primarily with these subjects. If this is what you seek, you can google many, many other sites and forums that will accept such topics. Discussion of such topics will only be allowed if someone has undeniable, 100% solid proof that this isn't pseudoscience. If this is the case, we'd also like to hear about when and where you will be accepting your Nobel Prize.
