I had issues searching for credible non-anecdotal material...
Accordingly, it was unclear if those small potassium hydroxide based torch kits still cause serious Hydrogen embrittlement in 304 stainless, and aluminium.
I seem to recall at some point it was used for silicon wafer wire-bonding, but I'm looking for articles focused on structural welds and fatigue related fractures along cut lines.
