Not dead...Just busy life with work, and havnt had huge motivation for HV projects lately. I think the only HV goody picture I could post here...is this: ( 500V 8800uF Inverter-grade 500C ripple rate )

So yeah. I've been a long time member of a local maker space under the name of GRMakers. Recently been given membership there and cleaning up their machinery. So, pretty much now have access to lathes, mills, 3D printers, and a laser engraver/cutter thats a full industrail size unit with a table that shifts up/down for Z controls. So..in the future I plan to build my next tesla coil base out of all laser-cut colored acrylic...will try not to go overboard but when you have such a machine and infinite time, a bed of 4x8ft, its like...why not go overboard and go crazy with it...I'm all for craftsmanship and artistic freedom, not "It works great but looks like shi"

Far as other news goes...
Quadcopter has always been a on-going project. 3D printed a custom design case for the camera, which has survived direct ground hits without issues.

Also finished a full custom-from-scratch 3W laser. Build-Log found here: Link2

Some other Misc stuff as of more lately...

Own a carbon fiber QAV250 quadcopter now, soon to be rigged with FPV as well

I have access to a laser cutter/engraver, which pretty much at this time is 100% free to use if i supply my own materials, theres days i've fiddled with it for 5 hours etching random stuff, including toast. I plan to make a tesla-coil base eventually out of either all laser etch/cut acrylic, or laser etch/cut wood eventually. 4x6ft etching space

And more recently I've been working on an electrothermal gun, prototype 2. Prototype one was crudely build. 2 inch barrel, and pressed-fit parts. At 5.5KJ I was able to shoot a wooden projectile ( 5mm diameter 1cm long ) through 4 soda cans in a row ( empty ) set about 18 inches from the ETG barrel. I decided since the test resulted positive, I would build a much better, higher quality one with no leaks. Where as my past design had so much losses it wasnt even funny. So here's the current work-in-progress. Lathe work to be done on one of the parts before installing the 'blast chamber' in the center. This one will have a barrel on it, whats seen in the picture is just fancy 'for looks' 3 inches of random diameters taced onto the end, where all that will be 3 inches of press-fit on the barrel.

Always projects going on and stuff coming in/out. I've been so highly considering getting rid of / selling a couple 2.5 x 10" 32awg wound tesla coil forms, and even more-so my GU81M tube, as its just all collecting dust with no plans to do anything with them. Plus if I do that, it gives me more cash to put towards other projects ^.^
