I'm fabricating a small, one-off batch of PCBs for a DRSSTC MIDI Polyphonic interrupter. Before I send the order, I wanted to ask if anyone would be interested for the mass order. Just trying to save cost by buying more components / boards and to find out interest before I make the order.
Here's an earlier version of the interrupter in action with my DRSSTC 3 here: It does two-tone polyphony through MIDI (You can buy a MIDI-USB cable cheap off ebay, or use any generic MIDI keyboard), as well as standalone frequency mode.
You will receive the PCB, all components including a programmed microcontroller, but you'll have to assemble and debug the board yourself but I will assemble one first and test it and do some documentation on how to get it going. The interrupter is made for optical output (i.e. driving an optical transmitter which is essentially a LED). Because I know you guys use different outputs, the only things not included are the 9V battery and transmitter. This design is essentially a modified version of the oneTesla interrupter which I use in my coils. See I'm selling this at the cost price so I can save by buying more at a time. Here are the specifications:
Uses a 9V Battery or any other 6-12V input source
Has Standalone Adjustable frequency mode (~200 to 500Hz BPS) & optically isolated MIDI input
Adjustable Pulse Width for both modes (0 to ~135us)
Has provision for a momentary switch to output (you can jumper if you don't need a switch)
LED for transmit signal
Comes with programmed microcontroller, but you can program it yourself via AVRISP to suit your needs
